The smoke ventilation control system can be installed either on new systems or to replace existing outdated and unreliable control systems. Its carefully engineered design and minimal integration requirements provide for ease of installation. In most retrofit cases the existing cabling can be used.

Designed as a compact 2 zone control the system incorporates a small programmable logic controller to manage the shop sensors i.e. rain / override etc.

With fail safe to either open or closed as standard this can be configured during the commissioning phase.

Decentralised power distribution allows the vent controllers to work in power outage situations whilst also providing for expansion of the system beyond the 10 controller limit of one master panel.

Built in the UK the system has been designed to meet customer requirements as a simple no fuss controller.

i) Control Panel.

The VACS Ventilation control system is designed to embrace the world of both smoke control and natural ventilation. Intuitive by design, its operation meets the day to day requirements for natural ventilation control.

ii) Override switch.

The remote override switch incorporates open and close zone (s) pushbuttons for general day to day ventilation requirements, when operated in this mode the rain sensor system remains active, there is also a locking key switch for override open or closed, for example by Fire Brigade.
